INSTRUCTOR WANTED

FOR CAREER COLLEGE IN MISSISSAUGA

Bring your teaching knowledge to the College classroom.   We are looking for experienced professionals to use a variety of teaching methodologies and tools in the delivery of our courses to adults.   We need instructors who can teach a course with designated curriculum, prepare lesson plans and follow the guidelines of the Ministry of Colleges and Universities.  If you have teaching and/or practical experience using adult learning principles in a variety of subject areas and are interested in working on a casual basis we require your skills.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

ACCOUNTING INSTRUCTORS –

PAYROLL COMPLIANCE PRACTITIONER

Classes run from 8am to 1:00 pm. 5 hr. lectures (small class sizes)

Hrly. Rates are Negotiable

•  Deliver instruction in a variety of accounting subject areas specifically familiar with process of PCP, Payroll Compliance Practitioner a Certified CPA designation on the preparation, testing and exams, also familiar with Accpac, Simply Accounting, QuickBooks and Bookkeeping on the college level or in a  dedicated and or customized corporate solution.
• Be involved in course outlines, curriculum development and program delivery outcomes that meet client needs and satisfaction.  
• Be available to teach a flexible schedule. 
• Liaise with participants and staff to ensure a successful program delivery.
• Promote the college to student, corporate clients and persons within the community.
• Manage a classroom environment and conduct participants’ progress and performance reports, marking, attendance and project development, organize field trips and guest speakers.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated experience in training/teaching using adult learning principles
• At least 3 years of subject matter experience in the related field of instruction
• Proven communication, interpersonal, team, and time management skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum / instructional design is an asset
• Flexibility and positive attitude is a must
• Ability to manage a classroom environment
